The Lions Club of Dover, Rollinsford and South Berwick has been busy meeting the needs of the community.

Thanks to volunteers, local business sponsors and members, in 2023 the club:

* Raised $6,000 for pediatric cancer research
* Donated $500 for the Ryan Home Project
* Donated $400 to Camp Sunshine
* Recycled 4,836 pounds of plastic films which would otherwise end up in our landfills
* Recycled 500+ pairs of eyeglasses
* Screened over 1,000 children for early diagnosis of vision issues, (15% identified as needing followup)

The Lions Club of Dover, Rollinsford and South Berwick is a member of the Lions Club International, which began in 1917.  Their motto is “We Serve.”  The club gathers on the 1^st and 3^rd Wednesday of each month at Cara Irish Pub in Dover.
